About me

I am a New York and California Licensed Clinical Psychologist.  I received my BA from Cornell University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude, and I completed my doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology through Yeshiva University.  My predoctoral training was at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center, and I was a postdoctoral fellow at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. I worked at the International Trauma Studies Program through the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University for over ten years.  I have worked with a diversity of demographics in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  In addition to my work as a psychologist, I hold a Masters degree in Performance Studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and I have directed, written and co-produced multiple theater projects with international refugees.

Outside my private practice, I am the Assistant Medical Director of Behavioral Health at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, I facilitate discussions about trauma and the arts for multiple mental health and arts organizations, and I am a cofounding member of the resiliency collective, an emerging, multi-disciplinary response to Covid-19 and structural racism in the fields of mental health and medicine.
