My aim as a therapist is to help you identify your goals for treatment and then work together to achieve them. Using a variety of evidence based methods, I individualize treatment based on your needs and work with you to create lasting change. I foster a calming and compassionate environment but am not afraid to challenge you in order to help you maintain accountability and actualize your greatest potential.
I approach the work through a psychodynamic lens, but am well versed in a variety of other empirically validated methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness based therapy. My background in theater allows me to be creative and non-rigid while I also remain goal oriented and focused on your specific needs.
